Maintenance expected...

I've just spotted (because Drupal helpfully didn't tell me) that there's a full new build of the CMS you're currently looking at available to download and install.

...This isn't going to go well, is it?

Unfortunately this web space is now all I have left to test, develop and generally mess about in. Therefore, I'll try and make it work in the background and only update the main site if it all works with no dramas. If, however, you load the site and it's not here, the chances are I'm frantically restoring a backup. Please bear with me if that happens!

The "To-do" List

I've had a number of requests recently from people asking if I can do "their" airfield - often (usually?) in other parts of the world and very much outside the realms of what I do, so before I go any further, I'd better explain a couple of things:

...OK, OK, I know I said no updates...

But apparently there are a couple of people following this blog now (why!?!? It only has one entry!) so I'll just make this very quick.

I've uploaded two additional sceneries today:

RAF Little Snoring was a night raider station (what else could it be with a name like that?) after spending some time as a bomber station and one of the few places to operate round-engined Lancasters.

RAF Dunsfold, these days, is most famous for hosting BBC's "Top Gear", but before that it was the test location for, amongst other things, the Sea Hawk and Harrier jets. During WW2, the period my scenery is set in, the airfield was home to Canadian Mustangs, then B-25 Mitchell medium bombers.

That's all for now.

New Add-On Commissioned... Delays expected

Apologies to anyone who actually visits this place hoping to see anything new in the near future, but Mrs. P commissioned a new add-on to the world yesterday, which is going to pretty much put any scenery development on hold for the forseeable future.

Her name is Hayley, she was born at a typically awkward for this family 0242Z and weighed a mere 5lb 13oz on arrival.

Sincere apologies for any delays caused by this new add-on, but it's not one I can easily uninstall and go back to where I was before! :)
