Camp Banjo

Another fictional Forward Operating Base developed at the request of a developer, "Camp Banjo" is a small base on the island of Guadalcanal in the Solomon Islands.

Unlike Khowpur Valley, there's no particular squadron or history for this one - it's been tested with pretty much every WW2 fighter I can think of and find a suitable one to try. Apparently one particularly intrepid (daft?!) sim pilot has got the Aerosoft Catalina out of this place, but I wouldn't fancy my chances with that personally, the A2A F4U Corsair was tight enough, thanks.

Instead of having a background, this is just intended as somewhere to fly from in the PTO. The scenery is built using only default FSX objects, so it's not realistic, but should hopefully be usable by anyone. It includes a pier down on the coast with a ship alongside, just don't ask too many questions about how the ship got that close or, indeed, how the pier was built.

Download links can be found under the "Version History" section, below. The scenery has been tested using FSX Deluxe with Acceleration on Windows XP SP3 (DX9) and FSX Deluxe with SP2 on Windows Vista SP1 (DX10).
